Helipad

Here are "JimO" and "Thomas" adjusting a programmable radio transmitter (Jim's Multiplex Cockpit MM") on the Helipad. It is a concrete pad flush with the lawn that has a circle painted on it with an "X" through the circle. The helipad makes a great competition circle for various Hand Launch events. There are also some small slopes around. The Helipad is between Outside The Hotel and The Restraunt. A good HL distance goal here is from the Helipad to the Pizza Hut restraunt, back to the Holiday Inn sign pole (around on the far side), and return. This is the same West Virginia hotel where a meet is held every year in October. Book in advance, there is no vacancy on the event weekend.
