Click on the image on at left to download and play a video [296 Kb] of the WingTip diving down wind for a rolling pass. This is a good example of the high roll rate that a smaller model can get with just a little speed. Fast turns are necessary when aimed down wind going over the lip of the slope. Remember the primary rule of Slope Soaring: NEVER TURN TOWARD THE SLOPE! For even more extreme 3D action with HLAerobatic models on the slope, check out the Dynamic Soaring section of this web site. Remember the primary rule of Dynamic Soaring: ALWAYS TURN TOWARD THE SLOPE!
